The Bar-David Museum collection includes works of art in various and diverse techniques such as oil, watercolor, drawings, engravings, lithographs and prints of various types and sculptures from a variety of materials. The collection contains works by mainly Jewish artists, from the middle of the 19th century to the present day, including Jewish artists who worked and created in many countries and did not live in Israel, artists who were born and created abroad immigrated and settled in Israel, and including artists who were born, worked and still work here.

The collection is rich in works by talented and well-known artists, alongside talented artists who have not been exposed to the public. The collection also includes experimental works, interesting sketches and preparatory drawings of artists who sought their way between the 1950s and 1960s in the transition between the figurative style and the abstract current. The collection also includes works by artists who accompanied the Zionist enterprise in their works and gave expression to the landscape of the Land of Israel and to man within the magical landscape of the land in its creation.
The museum’s collection continues to grow thanks to the contributions of people and artists who exhibit at the museum.
